Warranty & Protection — Direct Discount Appliances

Every appliance is inspected, tested, and backed by warranty protection you can rely on. We also partner with Consumer Priority Service (CPS) to offer extended protection plans for long-term coverage.

Standard Warranty — 30-Day Functional Warranty (Included)

All purchases include a 30-day functional warranty that covers operational failures and defects that prevent normal use.

What the 30-Day Warranty Covers

  • Mechanical failure (motors, belts, compressors)
  • Cooling or heating issues (refrigerators, ovens, ranges)
  • Electrical or operational malfunctions
  • Any defect that prevents normal use of the appliance

How We Handle Issues

If an issue occurs within 30 days, we will diagnose the problem and repair the unit. If a repair is not possible, we will replace the appliance with a comparable model where available.

Extended Warranty Through CPS (Optional)

Customers may purchase extended protection plans through Consumer Priority Service (CPS) for 1–3 years of coverage that includes parts and labor.

What Is Not Covered

The following items are excluded from both the standard 30-day warranty and CPS coverage (unless specifically stated otherwise by CPS):

  • Cosmetic blemishes such as dents and scratches
  • Issues caused by improper installation
  • Misuse, accidental damage, or intentional damage
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Damage resulting from home wiring, plumbing, or environmental conditions
  • Missing accessories that were not included at the time of sale
  • Food loss (for refrigerators/freezers)

Customer Responsibilities

  • Keep your original receipt or proof of purchase — this is required for warranty service.
  • Ensure appliances are installed correctly by a qualified installer; improper hookups can void coverage.
  • Report any problems promptly — early reporting helps us resolve issues faster.
  • Do not attempt self-repairs or service by unapproved technicians; unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.

Important Notes

  • Customers are responsible for transporting the appliance for service or for paying any applicable service pickup fee.
  • Replacements provided under warranty will be comparable in size and value to the original unit.
  • Warranty coverage is for functional defects and does not cover preference-based returns.
  • CPS extended warranties are typically non-refundable once activated — review CPS terms before purchase.
